Beautifully said, Tess. I know how easy it is to return to those guilty feelings, or anger and frustration at the unfairness of the situation. It's a nasty surprise when those emotional wounds suddenly ache again.
I applaud you for catching yourself and choosing to set a new positive pattern.
I hope the therapy helps Carys a lot - could be a great blessing.
Happy new year to you all!

My Latin is rather weak when compared to my wonderful command of French ( my modesty prevents me from saying more) but one phrase that always impressed me was in the Canterbury Tales. It was in the Nuns tale. Amour vincit omnea...Love conquers all.My spelling may be wrong but that doesn't affect the wonderful truth of the phrase.
We all have our weaknesses but nothing can destroy the remedial power of Love.

Love to all....Dad

Nice to see you back, I found the stories of Hong Kong and your kids interesting.

Hi, I've been reading Mel Levine's "the myth of laziness" he describes the hard pen grip perfectly and the types of things that can be done to help. If you get it, buy the book rather than the kindle version, as his flowcharts and diagrams don't come out well on the Kindle.
