After attending Church, the six of us and Lita marched off to the NICU to wish the nurses on the night shift a Merry Christmas. The nurses in these pictures both cared for the triplets and were delighted to see their progress. We also took a Christmas treat offering of brownies and egg nog.

For three years Tess and Charles have held an Amah Brunch on Christmas morning for domestic helpers in our building who have no real place to celebrate Christmas. After feeding the triplets and Sebastian, Tess and Charles cooked an enormous feast of bacon, eggs and toast. About eight amahs joined Mila and Lita in their Common Area. The event was especially important to us this year considering that most of our visitors had selflessly volunteered their time to help us care for the triplets on weekends and evenings. Their help is much appreciated... thank you! (Sebastian also discovered he loves bacon.)
Santa Sela and one of her biggest fans, Nilda, have some fun during The Amah Brunch.
This is the first year Sebastian truly experience Christmas. On Christmas morning he walked into the living room, took one look at the loot beneath the tree, and exclaimed "wow!"
One of our friends baked Christmas cookies for all the kids, including the triplets, who attended Christmas dinner. Sebastian was delighted - he ate Sela, Jasper and Carys' cookies on their behalf!
During the Christmas vacation, Sebastian took two weeks of swimming lessons. The daily practise was ideal. He quickly became water independant and advanced to "Tadpoles" in January.
Sebastian brought home this delightful artwork from school... we couldn't light the candle for sentimental reasons!
